Specialties
I work with adult individuals. It is important that our therapy space feels safe, non-judgmental, and affirming. I believe each client has the insight and the capability to reach their goals and realize the growth they desire. I will guide you toward that insight, by equipping you with helpful tools and resources, and by crafting a space of compassion and curiosity.
I enjoy and have background working with: religious concerns and faith crises/transitions, sport and artistic performance related concerns, stress and anxiety, depression, ADHD, healing from trauma and abuse, women’s issues, healthy boundaries in relationships, increasing self-esteem/self-worth, grief, and LGBTQIA affirmative work. My work is trauma-informed, and foundationally from a Feminist-Multicultural, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy conceptualization. In session, we will work to better understand your emotions and experience by accessing, sitting with, and processing thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations. Outside of session, I will often leave you with things to consider, pay attention to, or practice to continue building on that work. I am honored to be a witness to and an active member of my client’s healing journey, and I take on that role with immense gratitude and care.
