Yoga

Yoga is a mind body practice. Meaning literally union, it focuses on building mindfulness in both our physical and mental self. Yoga is the combination of gentle postures, or stretches, and/or intentional breathing and meditation. The benefits of yoga are far reaching and deeply studied. Regular practice has been shown to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression as well improving self esteem and alleviating negative self-talk. Anybody can do yoga, as it is a personal and easily adapted practice. Whatever way you choose to practice, the benefits will follow.

We are curently not offering in-person or online Yoga classes. If we do resume these classes, will will offer:

Meditation Yoga
Is a still and quiet practice of mindfulness and rest. Meditation can be practiced seated or lying down. Guided visualizations, music, and breathing techniques are used to guide the mind to stillness and focus. Each individual will have their own meditative experience, achieving present mind in their own way.

Restorative Yoga
Is a practice all about slowing down. Comprised of gentle postures and a focus on breathing, Restorative Yoga encourages adaptation and adjustment to meet each individual’s needs.This class is recommended for those experiencing stress or anxiety, recovering from illness or injury, or anyone wanting to bring more peace to the mind and the body.

Gentle Flow Yoga
Is a series of gentle postures designed to stretch the body to help bring calm and focus to the mind. Movements are kept slow and subtle and individual adaptation is always encouraged. This class is recommended for those seeking grounding through gentle movement.

Private Yoga sessions

Private sessions are personalized and tailored to your individual needs and comfort level. They can be scheduled for in person or online with Maddy at your convenience, and can be Meditation Yoga, Restorative Yoga, or Gentle Flow Yoga.
