I completed a BA in Psychology & a BS in Exercise Science at Fort Lewis College, and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis in Sports Performance Counseling at University of Utah. I have been practicing in mental health since 2019. I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in UT as of July 3rd 2023.
Specialties
I work with adult individuals. I am passionate about providing supportive, affirming, and non-judgmental care to each client. I enjoy working with: depression, anger, stress and anxiety, healing from trauma and abuse, increasing self-esteem/self-worth, increasing confidence, grief work, religious concerns and faith crises/transitions, women’s issues, healthy boundaries in relationships, interpersonal relationships and communication, attachment, LGBTQIA affirmative work, and performance related concerns. I have experience and training in substance use issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. I have been developing specialization in mental performance for team and endurance-based sports and can provide tailored mental performance and mental health support to a wide range of concerns within and outside of athletics. I view those who consult me as the ultimate expert on themselves and work collaboratively with each person, providing support, guidance, and skills to help you reach your goals and realize the change and growth you desire.
Kelli lives in Washington state and provides Teletherapy sessions only to anyone in Utah.
